The SUSTEM project’s partnership unifies three representative organizations from two Members States; the Agronutritional Cooperation of Region of Central Macedonia and the United Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos Greece and Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna, targeting three internal European markets; Italy, Germany and Sweden.
The strategic mission of the partnership is to enhance the sustainable competitiveness of the food and beverage regional sectors and to contribute to their sustainable development. Project’s objective is highlight the sustainability of the food and wine sectors of the represented EU regions (Central Macedonia and North Aegean in Greece, Emilia Romagna in Italy), stressing their significant and crucial role to the climate action and the environment. To highlight how the products promoted and their production methods contribute to climate change adaptation, to the reduction of food loss and food waste and to the sustainable consumption.
Selected activities are balancing between B2C and B2B techniques in order to increase on the regional food and wine and their production methods and stimulate their consumption including social responsible-moderate wine consumption while the communication approach will be based on two notions: Quality and Mediterranean.
